On the 28th of August, 2019, the Faculty of Law organized a visit to the Supreme Court of India. Twenty Four students accompanied by four faculty members witnessed the proceedings on matters related to the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act of 2012, Section 498A and Section 304B of the Indian Penal Code of 1860. The students also witnessed the ongoing proceedings regarding matters pertaining to Indigo Airlines and Property. It was a great learning experience for students and for most of them it was the first opportunity to witness a hearing in the Supreme Court of India.
