Visit to the Supreme Court of India Museum

The Faculty of Law organized two day visit to The Supreme Court of India Museum, Delhi on the 16th and the 30th of August, 2019. A total number of 75 students from the Faculty of Law visited the Museum and witnessed a number of artifacts like statues, manuscripts, calligraphies, inscriptions along with various historical paintings and souvenirs. Students were also shown various coins and stamps used in history. The uniform of various law officers including judges were also displayed in the Museum. The original copies of various landmark judgments, such as Keshavananda Bharati, Bachhan Singh etc were also displayed. Students also witnessed the display of Architectural model designs of The Supreme Court of India, High Court of Karnataka and High Court of Punjab & Haryana in the Museum. It was a fruitful and meaningful experience for the students.
