Faculty Of Law in association with the Competition Commission of India is organising an Expert Lecture

Competition law, also known as antitrust law, is a legal framework designed to promote fair competition in the marketplace and prevent anti-competitive practices. It aims to ensure that businesses compete fairly and consumers have access to a variety of choices at reasonable prices.

The Faculty Of Law in association with the Competition Commission of India is organising an Expert Lecture by “Ms. Sunaina Dutta” on ” OVERVIEW OF COMPETITION LAW AND ITS ROLE IN INDIAN ECONOMY” on 21st Aug 2023, at Seminar Hall, Faculty of Law, SGT University.

Ms. Sunaina Dutta is the Joint Director of the Competition Commission of India.  She obtained a degree of Bachelors in Law from Campus Law Center, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi in 2006 and also holds a diploma in Corporate Law and Management from Indian Law Institute, New Delhi.  Considering proclivity towards Competition Law, she got associated with Competition Commission of India (CCI/ Commission) in the year 2011 and since then she has been handling various works of the Commission be it analysis of merger cases, cases pertaining to anti-competitive agreements and abuse of dominant position.
