The faculty of Law, SGT University celebrated the 70th Constitution Day. On this day, i.e. on 26th of November, 1949 the Indian Constitution was adopted. On this occasion, the faculty members spread awareness about the Indian Constitution. The Preamble of the Constitution of India was read out to the students. The students were made aware of the fundamental rights as embodied in Part III of the Constitution. Awareness was created about the Fundamental Duties as incorporated in Part IV-A of our Constitution by the 42nd Amendment, which imposes moral obligations on all the citizens of our India. A brochure highlighting the fundamental duties and fundamental rights was distributed to the students.
