Heritage Walk

The Heritage Club of the Faculty of Law organized a heritage walk in collaboration with KARWAN: The Heritage Exploration Initiative   on 27th April, 2022 at Lodhi Art district in Lodhi Colony, New Delhi. There were about 30 registered students from the Faculty of Law.  The walk was started at 5pm as scheduled.  The Walk began with a brief introduction of the Walk Leader Mr.Gaurav Sharma. He conducted the walk in the open street art gallery located in Lodhi colony. He explained the significance of every art drawn on the walls. He brought to limelight the nuances of every art. It was an insightful and fruitful exercise   The wall arts were done by foreign and Indian artists.  The wall arts were about various social, economic, pollical and cultures issues of the world and India.  He explained about 25 wall arts on the different blocks of Lodhi colony. The walk was interrupted with quizzes and puzzles.  The walk was a learning and enjoyable.  The walk enhanced knowledge of participants on the modern art. The walk lasted for two hours. The walk ended with a vote of thanks by Prof. Rajan Rai and Dr.Mahalingam, Coordinator of the Heritage Walk. The students were taken back to campus by a chartered bus of university.
