The Faculty of Law, SGT University organized a Seminar on the topic of “Bar-Bench Relation: The Backbone of Justice Delivery System” in which the distinguished experts were from the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, Bar Council of Delhi and the University of Delhi. The seminar was attended by 64 students of the Faculty of Law along with the faculty members. The seminar began with the introduction of the SGT University, Thereafter, the experts discussed the following points: –
- – The Hon’ble expert introduced the relation between Bar and Bench and relied on the importance of the role of Professional Ethics in the Justice Delivery System.

Mr Tiwari shared his journey as a first-generation lawyer to becoming the chairperson of the Bar Council of Delhi. He covered the aspect of Bar Association, Bar Council and the interrelationship between the Bar Councils and Bench.
- Pradeep Rai, Senior Advocate & Vice President, Supreme Court Bar Association, highlighted the Bar and Bench relation in the Supreme Court of India and also motivated the students of the Faculty of Law for making a career as a Bar member or as a part of Bench.
The event was successfully completed with a vote of thanks given by Mr Azad Singh, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Law, SGT University followed by refreshment
