The Organizing Committee, Faculty of Law, SGT University organized the Overview of law of Evidence on 24th of May, 2022 for the students of BA LLB(H), BBA LLB (H) and LLB from 2nd year to final year. The all students were eligible to become the volunteers for the event.
The event started with the Inaugural ceremony at 10:15 am. The welcome address was proposed by Prof (Dr) Sanjay Kumar Pandey, Dean, Faculty of Law,SGT University. Further the brief of the event was discussed by Prof. (Dr.) Subhash Chander Raina, Former V.C Himachal Pradesh National law University,Shimla. The importance of evidence in the life of a law student was very beautifully explained by Ms. Neha Dhillion, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Law, SGT University.
Mr. Maharshi Kumar Kasoudhan, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Law, SGT University proposed a formal vote of thanks. The students coordinates,Ms. Vasundhara and Mr. Aditya Dagar, students of BA LLB 8th & 4th semester were the anchors in the inaugural ceremony. The second session of the guest lecture started after lunch. In that session discuss law of evidence of various topic with help of interesting illustration. He briefly explained the rule of res gestae, Burden of proof, rule of estoppels and types of examination. It was a great learning experience for our students. The finally concluded at 3:45 pm in the Seminar Hall.
