Rajan Rai

About

Prof. Rajan Rai has served as Professor of English in Haryana Government for 32 years. He started his career as Lecturer in English 1969 and was promoted as Principal in 2001 with first posting as Principal, Govt college Israna. Then he served as Principal Govt college – Tohana and retired as Principal, Govt College Sidhrawali in 2005. He is still active as Professor of English and French at SGT University, Budhera, Gurugram.

He has been teaching English Language and Literature to UG and PG classes, Communication Skills and Functional French to UG students. After his superannaution from Haryana Govenment, he served at ITM Gurgaon from 2007to 2014 teaching BTech and BALLB students English and Communicaion Skills. He co-authored a book on Communication Skills For B Tech Students, puiblished by ITM, Gurgaon ( Presently , the NorthCap University, Gurugram) published when he was teaching there from 2007 to 2014.

He is former member of Acedemic Council, Executive Council and Board of Studies for French and English at MDU Rohtak. He was appointed as Coordinator for Orientation and Refresher courses for Lecturers in Haryana in by the Higher Education Commissioner, Haryana for 3 years 1993-1996 at Government College Gurgaon as the Nodal Centre during his service in Haryana Government.

He has been teaching English an French to BALLB students at SGT University since 2014 to date. He has also organised workshops on Phonetics and Communication Skills for Faculty Development both at ITM Gurgaon and at SGT University, Gurgaon.
